Fox faz chamada para terceira temporada de House (confirmada)
É uma boa notícia, nem tão nova assim. Devido ao aumento de televisores ligados(com a ajuda do programa American Idol) para apreciar as loucuras da sanidade do Dr. House. Esperamos concerteza novas temporadas de House, que é uma série brilhante e deve permanecer no ar.
Entrevista com Hugh Laurie - E!Online
HUGH LAURIE
K: So, we are here, on the Sunset Strip, with Hugh Laurie. House, is in the house.
H: Why thank you, yes.
K: How many times have you heard that before?
H: Uh, a couple a times. But, you know, you give it that extra twist.
K: I do what I can.
H: You do. You do.
K: You guys just found out today that you were picked up for another season. Congratulations.
H: Thank you very much. We’re very excited. But I mean, you know, we were a little bit confident. We thought, well, the show’s been doing well, but you know--
K: You kinda knew.
H: We kind of knew, but you know, it’s not until you hear it officially that you realize that you didn’t really know and it’s a good day. We feel good about this. Yeah.
K: And you’re being honored tonight by the museum. Are you pleased with that honor?
H: Honored or interrogated? I don’t quite know which it is. I’ve never been to anything like this before, so I don’t quite know—
K: I think a little bit of both.
H: Do you think people bring rotten vegetables? I don’t know. I don’t know. I’m ready for anything. Yeah.
K: I think you should probably think of the wackiest fan question you’ve ever received and it’ll probably be at least ten to fifteen of those tonight.
H: (Looks at cam, feigning fright) Then, I’m looking forward to it. (Laughs) Um, I don’t know. This is gonna be very interesting, cause actually this is just about the first time I’ve really come face to face with the audience. We make this show in this little, isolated world, you know, and we worry about these things day after day. I actually forget that it sort of goes out, and someone’s gonna watch it.
K: People are seeing it!
H: Yeah. That there’s actually film in the camera and they actually put it together and make a show out of it. So this is the first time I’ve actually had to look the audience in the eye and I just hope they like it. If they don’t, we’re in trouble. Yeah. (Kristin laughing)
K: I’m hearing very good things about this two part super secret episode that’s coming up. Big stuff happening.
H: Yes, very big. It’s very big.
K: What would happen if you told me what happened in that episode?
H: I think, well, I can’t say that they’d have to kill me, because then we wouldn’t get it finished, would we? Um, somebody would have to die somewhere in the chain of information. But, yes, it is a bit secretive. It is a bit of a big twist. And there’s some very, very intense stuff, which is not to say there isn’t intense stuff in the other shows, but there’s something about having the, sort of, landscape of two hours to tell a story is quite different and it animates everybody in a different way, and the directors and the crew and the cast have become engaged with it. It’s been a very intense couple of weeks. And I hope that it’s gonna turn out alright. But of course, we never know. You never know until it’s done.
K: Well I am such a fan of the show and the final two episodes with Sela Ward were just fantastic, and just one sort of hint, if I may, to you. A little word of advice. You sign her onto the show fulltime, House can keep her around, and he has a better chance of staying hooked up with her permanently.
H: (Smacks himself on the forehead) You know I just didn’t think of that.
K: Sometimes it takes someone from the outside looking in.
H: (Laughs) Right. Exaclty. To see the problem clearly, and pass a little note maybe.
K: Right.
H: Well thank you for that. If I get the opportunity to do it, I will certainly, that’s the way I’m gonna go. (Looks into cam) What a fool I’ve been. What a fool I’ve been.
K: (Laughing) Do you think she might be back?
H: I don’t know to be honest. I’m about one day ahead of the curve. It’s not really a curve. It’s more of a sort of-- Nevermind.
(Kristin Laughs) The writers I think are about maybe two weeks ahead. Nobody’s much more ahead than that. So, truth is, I don’t think there is an answer. I don’t think anyone knows the answer to that question. If they do, they’re not telling. And certainly not me.
K: Right. So I have to tell you that earlier tonight I met a couple from North Carolina who had flown out just for this event tonight.
H: (Looks into cam, shocked) I… should’ve worn a tie. At least. If someone’s flown that sort of distance, they’re expecting some very amusing anecdotes, aren’t they? Um, let’s see if I can come up with something. (Looks into cam and whispers) Nothing, I’ve got nothing. Then I’ll simply, if they can show proof of purchase, a receipt or something, I’ll obviously refund their-- Or maybe I’ll give them an upgrade on the way back. (Looks into cam) That’s terrible. I feel-- What a burden. What a burden.
K: I would like you to know that I’m such a fan I came from Sunset and Fuller.
H: (Laughs) Right. Four blocks you came. Right!
K: It’s four and a half blocks.
H: Four and a half blocks. Ok.
